Here we have one of the nicest 3 1/2" gauge BR Britannias that we've ever had come through. Built by the late Ken Young, a superbly skilled model engineer and a lovely chap to boot. Ken also built the stunning Black 5 that came in at the same time as the Britt so you can see the quality of workmanship he produced.
Dripping with lovely details, this loco has only been run on a few occasions, having then spent at least the last 12 years on display in Ken's home.

As with most of our models, what you see isn't necessarily what you get! We often photograph models pretty much as they come in to us, and then when someone phones to say they are interested we pull the model into our workshops and make sure everything is tested, sorted and ready to go. So if you see the odd model photograph with a fitting missing or a return crank in the wrong place, that's just how it came in and certainly not how it will leave.
